OPSC Recruitment 2022: Over 170 Vacancies Notified For Asst Fisheries Officer Posts, Check Salary  





The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released a fresh advertisement for filling up of 177 posts of Assistant Fisheries Officer in Group-B of Odisha Fisheries Cadre under Fisheries and ARD Department.

The link for registration/re-registration and payment of examination fee will be made available on the official website- www.opsc.gov.in from April 4, 2022. The last date for submission of registered application is May 11.

Vacancy Position: 

Unreserved 85 (28-w), SEBC 03, Scheduled Caste 26 (09-w), Scheduled Tribe 63(21-w) Total 177 (58-w)

Educational Qualification:  

A candidate must be a Bachelor of Fishery Science (B.F.Sc.) from any recognized University in India or abroad. 

Examination Fee:  

A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs 500 only. Candidates belonging to SC and ST category and Persons with Disability are exempted from payment of fee. 

Age Limit: 

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 38 years as on January 1, 2022. Relaxation will be given to reserved categories as per norms.

Salary:

Pay scale of Rs 44,900 in Level-10 of ORSP Rules, 2017 with usual Dearness and other allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time. 

Method Of Selection:  

Selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts will be made on the basis of written examination and Viva Voce test.
